Hello! We are a family of four about to relocate to the UK for work for a year and hope that someone will be able to make use of our home while we are away. The place is a five bedroom (currently configured as 4 bedrooms and an office) house with two separate bathrooms and an en suite in the master room. The house is split over two levels and has a large courtyard. It is about 100m to the waterfront and famous 'Bay Run' harbour foreshore running track and opposite a park with a kids playground. There are frequent buses to the city from Victoria road, about 10 minutes walk from the property, and several others along Lyons road, 7 minutes away. Including the walk to the bus stop, the bus will get you to the middle of the city in less than half an hour. The area is excellent for running and cycling and the house has room for 2 cars on site (one car port and one off-street driveway) with ample on street parking as well. There are many cafes and parks and other attractions within a short walk from the house. We have two children - a 3 year old and a 1 year old - and the house is well set up for families. There are five large bedrooms: the upstairs bedrooms are set up with a King bed in the main room, a single bed in another and a cot in the third. Downstairs, the front room is set up as an office with large desk and armchair and there is a queen bed in the final room. There is a large couch and tv in the main living room with an open plan kitchen, dining room and sitting area adjoining, leading out to a courtyard and carport with rear lane access. There is another smaller living room upstairs between the bedrooms (with another couch up there). There is a large spa bath downstairs and a smaller bath in the en suite and three showers across the bathrooms. There is ample storage throughout (each bedroom has a built in wardrobe) and there is reverse cycle air-conditioning (with solar panels) throughout the house. The house is very comfortable and the neighbourhood is fantastic, particularly for young families. There are great transport connections and the area lends itself to an active lifestyle.
