The 3 subway stations are close ABBESSES & PIGALE & BLANCHE . This location is a perfect base to visit Paris or to reach any university. It stays 15 mn by subway to most interesting Paris locations AND is a very charming & restful area to be appreciated after a whole day shopping and walking through museums...The entrance of the building is located in a semi-pedestrian street. The street is charming. A nice Italian restaurant offers a nice terrace and great food. Other café and restaurants is the street offer terraces The apt is located on the 3rd floor (4th on US standards, elevator). One enters the apt directly in the living area which is large and bright. On the left the sofa area faces a large book shelve that covers the opposite wall. Together with the painting above the sofa and the large cinema print, it giving a very artistic feeling. The wooden beams on the ceiling have been painted in white. Close to the windows is the dining area. The table is a long metal table, painted in red, that was probably a kraft man studio piece of furniture. It can sit easily 6 guests On the right of the entrance, one finds the toilets, then the bathroom. The bathroom is designed with nice stone tiles. It offers a large shower closed with quality glass sliding doors. The washer-dryer is located on the left of the nice porcelain sink, under an ancient pharmacy closet. Further right is the open kitchen. It is fully equipped. The tiling was chosen with care and gives a lot of charm. Some old “casseroles” and a few paints are hanging for decoration. The kitchen offers a glass door and a window. The light is great. The view is over the courtyard of the building. The fact that the light comes from both ends plus from the door of the bedrooms gives a very warm ambiance to the apt. There are 2 bedrooms with double beds. Doors are located on each side of the sofa. The master bedroom is nicely decorated with a light green paint and curtains. A book shelf faces the bed. Large closets are at disposal and give a lot of space. It has a large window with electric shade that opens on the courtyard. The second bedroom is smaller but very agreeable. It has a view on the garden and an old craft man shop turned into a restaurant. Its large windows bring a lot of light. There are shelves available for positioning clothes. Once again bookshelves and paintings are giving an atmosphere.
