Below the home is a fantastic Chinese grocery (and within two blocks, organic groceries, normal ones, etc), cafes, restaurants, terraces--it's a pied a terre with bright light (top floor, with elevator after 8 easy, wide stairs at the entry) and everything you'd need to have a dreamy stay in Barcelona. Plenty of room for two people to work, relax, create, study and be. If you have dogs, they are very welcome. A Spanish interior design experience with local artwork, formal dining room, quality furnishings, original tile floors, all in an exceptionally safe building with building attendant and elevator. Amazing light--on the top floor. Perfect for 1-2 people with comfortable work-from-home sit/stand desk and fully stocked kitchen. Weekly cleaning included (no laundry done). MORE: There are three main rooms: a formal dining room which doubles as a second office, a study/office with sofa and sit/stand desk, and the spacious bedroom. All have balconies. The kitchen and bathroom are spacious but separate and simple with a fully stocked foodie's kitchen with everything you'd need to make a gourmet meal (Italian, Indian, Moroccan, Iranian, Spanish--whatever you love) or a simple cheese board. The bed is memory foam and new, a "Super King" size 180cmx200cm (between an American king and queen size), original art flanks the walls and all the rooms are spacious and uncramped. Feel at ease in this beautiful space with original Spanish tile floors. Dog friendly: dog bed, bowls, and toys provided. WHO THIS IS NOT FOR: 1) A dog normally lives here, so if you are allergic, while it is cleaned professionally, you may prefer another listing. 2) This is our full time home, available in summer for long stays. It is not a full time airbnb: there are personal effects around. Be sure this is okay with you, and that you'll be respectful of the contents. 3) Parties & smokers: this flat isn't for you. It's in a tight knit community, and if noise, ruckus, or smoke are detected, we'll hear about it right away from neighbors.
