We are a couple of professionals in our 50's who adore everything about our apartment and life in the Greenbush neighborhood. We are stepping into our dream of a warmer climate during the winter months and will be working from Arizona. We believe homes need to be lived in so are offering ours for someone to enjoy while we are away. Our apartment is the entire first floor of a charming 4 unit brick property built in the 1930's. Walls of windows bring in so much light that the park outside feels like an extension of the living space. Even during a WI winter this location has so much to offer. Photos don't adequately convey the homey and inviting energy of the space. Our building mates are quiet, courteous professionals who all appreciate peaceful nighttime hours. As such, our unit is most appropriate for those with similar desires. The Greenbush Neighborhood is filled with a friendly mix of established professionals, retired residents, and UW students. Long-term parking on Wingra Street is free. Neighboring streets have two-hour parking limits for which a sticker can be purchased. The apartment will be FULLY furnished. Minor changes to furniture have occurred since photos were taken, but they've been upgrades. We will happily negotiate your storage needs. The primary bedroom has a queen bed. The second bedroom is decorated as a sanctuary space/guest room with a new single day-bed plus pull-out trundle. The kitchen is cozy and is fully outfitted for nearly all your cooking needs. Apple TV device + Smart TV in the living room and kitchen. A Traeger Pellet Grill is yours to use on the back patio. Our established cleaning person will continue to clean the apartment on a monthly basis. Cost is included in rent but arrangements will be made by you. This sweet apartment has been our home for seven plus years and we look forward to having someone live in it while we are away. We are thoughtful people who value relationships and communication. We would love to find someone with similar values who will care for our home as if it were their own.
