This house, in a quiet alley 1 km from Kyoto Station, has been owned for 10 years by an Australian artist who can no longer travel. It’s close to Toji Temple, Roksonno-jinja shrine and Umekoji Park. Fully furnished, a 64 m2 delight. The first floor comprises a genkan, sitting area with sofa, tatami room (with a dining table and four chairs), well-equiped kitchen, bathroom, laundry and toilet. The second floor is an open area with a double bed, storage space, office table and balcony. At the rear is a tiny tsuboniwa with a lantern. The house is insulated and the windows are double-glazed and screened. Aircon on both floors. I have a local English-speaking manager for any urgent problems. Features: Fully furnished; all linen supplied. Appliances: induction cooktops x 3, microwave, refrigerator, rice cooker, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine, washing machine/dryer, EPSON printer. The bathroom is a wet room with a soaking bath. There is no wifi/internet (I use a mobile router). There is one Dahon bicycle.
