I love my house, it has been a labor of love for the past 20 years. Every object has a story! The house has three bedrooms upstairs, one with an ensuite bathroom. The other two bedrooms have their own bathrooms. In addition, there is a social bathroom, a study room and a small TV room (it can be used as a study room). Magnificent views of Sintra - a UNESCO World Heritage Site - with the Pena Palace and the Moorish Castle lit at night. The downstairs part of the house - about 62 square meters - is an independent apartment, fully equipped. It has its own terrace, as the picture indicates. Since the house is large and I need a small space to live while I am in DC, I am more than willing to exchange ONLY this part of the house to have a comparable space in DC. Ten minutes by car from gorgeous beaches, mountains, and an Olympic pool with sea water. Tons of excellent restaurants around the corner (can provide a list). Heavenly place to create, meditate, and dream! Come to Portugal for one academic year to enjoy the house, the views, and the country. Make the house your home base and travel throughout Europe, flights within the European Union are extremely cheap these days. Enjoy the holidays - and your birthday - in a new scenario. You might also enjoy the pleasures of remote work. I would love to take care of your pet while in DC.
