$3000 per month (including utilities) We are a pair of academics (history professors) looking to rent our fully furnished 3-bedroom house in Hillcrest Village (St. Clair Avenue West at Oakwood). Currently furnished as 2 bedrooms plus office on the second floor. Great for a couple or small family. The downstairs is open concept with distinct living and dining rooms leading into a full kitchen with eating area. There are 1.5 bathrooms (one on the upper floor and a half bath in the partially-finished basement, which also has laundry facilities). The backyard consists of a patio, shed, and garden (flowers and vegetables). The house comes with licensed parking for one vehicle - hard to find in the city! Price includes electricity, water, heat/AC, and internet. It is a welcoming home in a lovely neighbourhood. We live in an accessible and very walkable neighborhood in midtown Toronto with an abundance of nearby shopping (groceries, butchers, fish merchants, bakeries...), parks, and restaurants, including Wychwood Barns and its weekly farmers’ market. There is convenient access to the TTC (a super reliable and frequent streetcar at end of the street, North-South buses a block away, the subway itself is about a 20 minute walk). It is an easy commute to University of Toronto and Toronto Metropolitan University (about 20 and 30 minutes by transit) as well as York University (under an hour by TTC). There are great neighbours and – if needed – very good schools. A quiet street in the middle of it all! Get in touch about your needs - our arrangements, start and end dates, can be flexible.
