Built at the end of Meiji era (1911) this historical building is a former teahouse (ochaya), which has been run by the Hiraiwa family as a ryokan since 1958. This house has 12 rooms (max occupancy of 24 people), and we only accept private groups -- the house is not shared with other travelers. There are 9 tatami rooms upstairs and three rooms on the ground floor. This house is equipped with a professional kitchen We have experience in hosting groups, university faculties and students.
