The apartment is located in a small condominium on Borgo Ognissanti. It is on the top floor, 3rd piano with its own security gate. The apartment itself is bi-level, with a spacious master bedroom ( large matrimonial bed) on the upper level with a half bath which is set off the street. Downstairs is the living/dining room and kitchen with a table that can be expanded to seat 8. In the living room there is a sofa that folds out into a queen sized bed, that is great for your guests. A full bathroom with jetted tub and shower, bidet and towel warmer is also downstairs. The apartment has all modern appliances, which includes a microwave, clothes washer and clothes dryer. In the apartment there are skylights which gives the apartment tons of light and a sense of spaciousness. The furnishings are handcrafted for the apartment of chestnut wood and the apartment is beautifully appointed. The apartment also boasts of great water pressure thanks to a water pump and cistern behind the stairwell. The apartment is complete with glassware, dishes and cutlery. A full array of pots and pans and cooking utensils are available. There are linens and towels provided. Gas and Electricity and Wi Fi are paid separately by the tenant. Actual costs for utilities are dependent upon the tenant and their use. Also, in the colder months, prices for electricity and gas can run higher. Garbage and water are paid by the landlord. There are no condominium fees or deposits. €150 cleaning fee is due upon departure. The neighborhood of Borgo Ognissanti is wonderful in that it is in the historical centre, yet close to the train and bus station. There are electric buses which can take you around the city. There are great restaurants and pastry shops and outside seating bars and small cafes along the street and interesting specialty shops. There are grocery stores and convenience stores also close by. The American Consulate is up the street, St. James church is around the corner and there is easy and free access to the Viale without having the hassles and limits of the ZTI to take you to the autostrada. There are loads of parking garages and street parking and lots available if you have a car. I am an educator who has lived in Florence for over 25 years. I’m looking for tenants that desire, a beautiful , well appointed, apartment, close to transportation, as well as close to the heart and historical center of Florence. The apartment is available for rent for a minimum of three months to a year. It’s perfect for a sabbatical, or students who are studying overseas, and professionals, who are looking for a beautiful space to live, while working in Florence.

Comments: This location is unique because of its access to public transportation. It is five minutes away from the train station and has easy access in an out of the city without a fee. It is also 5 minute walking distance to the historical center.
