Our wonderful, much loved, London home is full of charm and character, and we are looking for someone who will love and take care of it as much as we do, whilst enjoying the location and easy access to central London, plus all the benefits of a very friendly, local neighbourhood. We will be away for around 9 months from mid September, through to June 2025, although we are now only looking for someone from January 2025 onwards. Both my daughters will be at Universities in the UK, and I will be going back to study for a Fellowship in the US. We are very excited, but want to be sure that our lovely home is in good hands while we are away. Our property is very versatile and would suit a couple with space for visitors, or a small family. Equally, a single person would find it a lovely place to live with friendly neighbours and a quiet space to work or write from home. Our fabulous, large, 3 bedroom split level conversion spans the upper two floors of an impressive semi-detached Victorian house, with over 1000 sq. ft. and a private 30ft garden. The accommodation comprises a large, bright living room, modern kitchen, 3 double bedrooms and a newly refurbished bathroom. There are many original period features including high ceilings, stripped floorboards and a feature fireplace. There are stairs up the the 1st floor and again up to the 2 bedrooms. There is a shared entrance and a front garden, with residents parking on street. One of the best things about our neighbourhood is that we are a few minutes walk away from train stations with regular direct connections to the City of London and all main line central London stations, this makes travel into town extremely quick, easy and accessible. It can take you just 7 minutes by train to get from our local station to London Bridge! In addition, the local area has many independent shops, supermarkets, pubs, cafes, deli and patisseries, with an award winning Farmer's Markets close by. We are also surrounded by beautiful parks and green spaces which give beautiful views over London, and we are a short distance away from historic Greenwich, which makes this property a unique oasis in central London.

Comments: Although the property spans the upper two floors of a Victorian house, it is suitable for children, although probably not young children who would need to be carried upstairs!
