Due to family caregiving needs, we need to move out of Kingston for at least a year and perhaps longer. We are looking for trustworthy tenants who will care for our lovely home as we have cared for it ourselves. The house is in a fantastic neighbourhood, walking distance to downtown as well as local cafes, restaurants, and the waterfront. There is room for two cars in the driveway, and there is an EV charger available. There is a small front garden (low maintenance), and a fenced in backyard with a patio and many perennials. The house has 3 bedrooms and one small office (which could be used as a bedroom as well). There is one full bath (including clawfoot tub and separate shower stall) on the 2nd floor, and a half bathroom on the first floor. If a lower rent is desired, we can decrease the price and use one of the bedrooms for our own personal storage while you are in our home. The kitchen has been extensively renovated with a large island, and is a lovely space in which to spend time. There is a woodstove that is perfect for cold winter nights. Heating and cooling are provided by a newly-installed cold climate heat pump, and there is a furnace for backup heating if needed. Neighbourhood landmarks that are within walking distance: The Elm Cafe, Tula Cafe, Pizza Monster, Daughter's General Store, the Memorial Centre Farmer's Market. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the amenities of downtown Kingston, and a 20 minute walk to the heart of the Queen's campus. The photos are from the previous owners but capture what the house looks like when fully furnished! (We haven't made any significant changes since these were taken a few years back.) As a bonus, there is an outdoor catio that is connected to the house by an insulated cat door, in case you have a feline friend who likes to be outdoors safely.
