Enjoy the quiet charms of the top of the Berkeley hills! Situated in an idyllic neighborhood, this is the beautiful, bright and airy home of two Berkeley faculty members. Just a short walk from the vast hiking areas of Tilden Park, our home is appropriate for faculty or professionals visiting for the academic year 2024-25. The house is on one level. It contains a large master bedroom with an attached bathroom; a secondary bedroom appropriate for a child or a visitor; and two home office spaces, one of which could make a nice studio. There is an open kitchen with a dining room for up to eight. A deck overlooks a backyard with a view of the bay. All amenities (including a peloton bicycle and a home theater room) are available. The house is in a quiet family neighborhood and is a ten-minute drive from campus and downtown Berkeley. The closest restaurants and shops are a ten-minute walk. There is a backyard and a front-yard should you be interested in gardening. It is an easy walk to the farmers' market or the public library! The rental price includes weekly cleaning and utilities. Parking is not a problem, and use of our vehicle can be negotiated (renters will need own vehicle insurance). We can negotiate the use of our electric bikes, which make getting around the hills a pleasure.
