This is a spacious and light one bedroom flat with a double bedroom, where there is also a desk, a large living room, a kitchen with a table for 2 people (though I've sat 4 around it) you can sit and eat in, and a bathroom with a fitted shower. I live in the flat myself for half the year (October-March), which means that I ensure everything is in working order and regularly upgrade or replace the utilities and furnishings and redecorate. It had a make over in Autumn 2021, including being repainted throughout, retiling of the bathroom and the fitting of a new shower door, replacing kitchen chairs, adding a new sofa bed, and changing the office chair. It has had a further refresh in October 2023 and there is a new (larger) table in the kitchen. In 2024 I also installed a new boiler. It is suitable for a single or a couple - not suitable for children and no pets or smoking. It is on the second floor of a Victorian building with an office and one other flat underneath. It overlooks a park and is on a residential road, so is quiet. It is also very light and airy, having windows on three sides of the building, so you get the sun throughout the day. It is extremely central and well connected - Holloway and Islington on the Victoria Line and Holloway Road on the Piccadilly Line are both less than 10 minutes away on foot, while the Angel on the Northern line is 15-20 minutes away. There is also a good bus service and the Overground from Highbury Islington, so pretty much anywhere in London is easily accessible.The British Library is one stop on the Victoria Line, Oxford Circus four stops. From Holloway Road you can get to Covent Garden, Leicester Square and South Kensington, giving you quick and direct access to all the main museums, clubs, shops. There are also direct connections to Heathrow and Stansted and the Eurostar is one stop away at Kings Cross. Upper Street and Holloway Road shops, pubs and restaurants are all nearby, as is Islington gym and swimming pool. There is also a convenience store next to the office below the flat and a good restaurant and a gastro pub less than 5 minutes walk away. It is handy for pretty much all the main London Colleges and Universities - you can get to UCL, Birkbeck, LSE, Kings, Westminster and London Metropolitan in 15 minutes, Goldsmith's is also quick via the overground from Highbury and Islington to New Cross.

Comments: Its opposite a park with lots of light and on a quiet road. Very close to both Holloway Road and Highbury and Islington tube stations. There are shops, restaurants, pubs and a swimming pool and gym all very close by.

Comments: Christmas and New Year apart, my preference is for lets of three months minimum. NB The flat is NOT available end of September -mid December and early January til end of March, when I use it.
