We are renting out our amazing flat in the heart of Bethnal Green for one month (while we are gone for conferences and travel). The flat has one double room, one office / guest room, a cosy living room filled with books and natural light, a modern kitchen with all appliances (oven, microwave, dishwasher etc), and a bathroom with bath. There is very fast internet. We have a lovely balcony - big enough to have dinner - with small fruit trees, candles, couches and a table for four. The flat has all modern comforts - perfect double glazing, for example, which makes our home silent and chill - but also many warm and unique elements: a projector for cinema nights, a bookshelf bursting with books (literature / humanities / international law :)), and even a wine fridge! We are on the sixth floor of the apartment building, which means we have an amazing view and enjoy lots of light and silence at night. The building is modern and secure. There are also unique benefits: it has a safe, big and clean bike storage on the ground floor and a very big rooftop terrace / garden to enjoy aperitivo with a superb view over central London. In terms of location, the flat is right in the heart of Bethnal Green, right next to Weavers Field and a 5 minute walk from the iconic Brick Lane. It is right next to Bethnal Green overground line and a short walk to Bethnal Green Central Line and Whitechapel station. This means you are a stone throw away from East London academic institutions (like Queen Mary University) but you also arrive in the central London universities (LSE, UCL, SOAS, King's etc) in no time.
