Our family is going on sabbatical to California, and we are looking for an individual, couple or family to enjoy and take care of our spacious 6-bedroom home. Our house is on College Hill, a 5 minute walk to Brown, near Fox Point, and walking distance to Wayland Square, Wickenden and other dining and cultural areas, as well as a half mile from the bike path and a short walk to downtown. The house is recently renovated with heating, roof, windows, and kitchen all replaced ~10 years ago, and we recently installed an induction stove. The kitchen has an eat-in island and there is a full dining room directly connected. There is also a living room on the first floor with a flatscreen TV. There is an additional open room on the first floor which can be used as an office or kids' playroom. There are 3 bedrooms on each of the 2nd and third floors, and they are all large with large closets. We'd like to reserve 1 or 2 rooms for storage, we can discuss as needed. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with two sinks and a very large walk-in closet. In addition to the 2 bathrooms pictured, there is a half bath on the 1st floor, and another full bathroom on the third floor, with a layout similar to the master bath. The 2nd floor bathroom has a jacuzzi tub. There is a washer and dryer in a dedicated laundry room in the basement. There Is a large driveway with two parking spaces outside the backyard gate, and another parking space inside the gate. There may be an option to use our car, let us know if you are interested. We have a large yard with a fire pit and a patio, as well as many garden beds. We would welcome someone with an interest in gardening, otherwise we will find someone to care for the garden. There is a climbing structure and small zipline that our children enjoy, which could be left in place or taken down.
