Wonderful 4 bedroom family home 500m from the beach
We live in a beautiful part of the world! Come and stay at Mermaid Beach and live in our lovely home close to the beach and restaurants/shops.
We are an easy stroll to the beach and 100m from Mermaid village, with its independent coffee shops, restaurants (of almost all nationalities!!), fruit and vegetable shops, hairdressers, Asian grocers and German butcher.
Our house is low-set, with four large bedrooms, one with ensuite, and open plan living/kitchen/dining (this area has air conditioning and all bedrooms have ceiling fans). Out the back is a BBQ and a lovely deck for entertaining/ outdoor living. The house is modern and well furnished. The living area is filled with light and catches the sea breezes. The house is insect screened throughout and is fully fenced with a locking front gate. There is car parking for two cars and a car-swap is negotiable. The house has a separate laundry, with easy access to outside clothes hanging area.
The Gold Coast is one of Australia's top holiday destinations. It boasts kilometers of wide, white sandy beaches, a vibrant nightlife, and the best weather in the world!!! Mermaid Beach is located centrally on the coast within easy reach of all the Gold Coast has to offer. Trendy Mermaid village and Nobby's Beach (just down the road) is alive with cafes, restaurants and bars. There are several markets in the area, and regionally. Brisbane, Queensland’s capital, is one hour's drive north and Byron Bay, in stunning northern New South Wales, is one hour’s drive south. 45 minutes inland lies world heritage rain forest for hiking, picnicking, camping and bird watching.
