Perfect Location in the Mission/Castro - Gastronome's paradise
Located between the Mission and Castro neighborhoods, this charming 1910 Edwardian flat is walking distance to Dolores Park, the fantastic Bi-Rite Market and Creamery, Tartine and many wonderful restaurants. Mass transit is also conveniently close: you're just steps away from the J-Church Muni line, near to the Church Street Muni station, and only a few blocks from BART, to get you easily around the Bay Area. Though centrally located, the house is on a quiet one-way side street, a peaceful haven in this otherwise bustling (but very charming!) neighborhood.
This home has many features such as hardwood floors, ample bookshelf space in the library, comfy reading chairs and a dining room table that can seat up to 8. This unit is on the second floor of a two-unit house so there is plenty of light. There is an in-suite washer and dryer. All utilities are included; so are wi-fi, television and DVD player. There is one bedroom with a queen-sized bed; a second bedroom with a sofa bed and a desk; a living room with a sofa bed; a library/dining room; kitchen with dining nook; laundry room; and bathroom.
This was our longtime home and we renovated the kitchen not knowing that we would soon be moving to Boston. There is a new Wolf gas range, dishwasher, and double-doored stainless steel fridge. The kitchen is fully equipped and will make the most discerning chef very happy. Because this is no longer our main residence, we have not left our personal effects and you will have plenty of closet space to make yourselves at home.
This is a very special neighborhood and house for many reasons. The Mission has some of sunniest and warmest weather in San Francisco. This is important because you will want to enjoy the beautiful backyard garden, which includes a Weber grill.
The house will be professionally cleaned before you move in. We ask that you have our cleaners clean the apartment once a month ($160) for long-term stays. There will be an additional cleaning fee when you move out ($200). A refundable damage deposit is requested.
Our home is not childproof and not particularly appropriate for children. We would prefer to rent to a single person or a couple.
