About I am currently a Teaching Fellow at the University of Alcalá (Spain), where I teach at the European University Master´s Degree in Intercultural Communication, Public Service Interpreting and Translation. I have a MA in Spanish and Latin American Studies (University of Warsaw, 2000), a PhD degree with “European Mention” in Media Studies (Complutense University of Madrid, 2011). My areas of academic expertise range from Spanish Film, Contemporary Spanish Culture and Teaching Spanish as a Second Language to Translation and Intercultural Studies. I have been living and working in Spain for ten years now. I came to Madrid in 2002 and since then I have been combining my duties as a researcher and lecturer at the university and activity as a Sworn Translator of Polish and Spanish Language appointed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Spain. I have also translated three Polish novels into Spanish.
