Victorian Apt available July, August 2013

Housed in an 1870s house/building, one of the few detached plots in the city, both apartments get light from all four sides (a rarity for San Francisco). While the apartments have been modified over the years, several of the original features remain--high ceilings, tall windows, wooden floors, sliding doors.

Each of the apartments have separate entrances from the street and their own access to the back garden full of flowers and fruit. They are approximately 900 square feet and have 5 rooms each. Both are furnished tastefully with Oriental carpets, paintings, and modern furniture. Each of the kitchens also has an eat-in nook, and the bathrooms have a full tub.

Neighborhood! Neighborhood! Neighborhood! Experience San Francisco like a local by living in a true neighborhood, the kind that has made San Francisco and Paris famous. Noe Valley has it all--a cheese shop, cafes, bookstores, post office, banks, Whole Foods, AND a farmer's market, everything within a few blocks. Not a surprise then that the neighborhood has scored a 94% by walkscore's (walkscore.com) standards, making it one of the most walkable neighborhoods in the city and country. Neighbors know and help each other here, and residents work and hang out in cafes, typifying the attitude of many of the professionals who live here. Social advocacy by the residents in the neighborhood is what has kept the neighborhood the way it is, a world away from big chain stores. Let it be said, Noe Valley is not a transit between neighborhoods. It is possibly (and real estate agents might back me up on this) one of the best there is in San Francisco.

Parking is easy street parking with a neighborhood permit, often right in front of the house, but better still the house is minutes away from the light rail stop that can take you any place in San Francisco, and is a 12-15 minute walk to the BART station giving you access to the East Bay as well as the South Bay. Noe Valley is ideal for people wanting to commute to Palo Alto and Berkely and beyond as it is also very close to the 280 and 101 freeways.

The upper apt is available to rent July & August 2013. Rent includes all utilities. Extra cleaning fee of $100
