Charming non-smoking one bedroom garden apartment in beautiful Marin County with windows looking out on flowers and redwood trees. Near shops, restaurants and boutiques, the apt. is also within walking distance of hiking trails and to the Golden Gate Transit to San Francisco bus, as well as a 10 minute drive to San Francisco.
The apt has a separate entrance, hardwood floors, a comfortable queen size bed, a full bathroom with shower and tub, a fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, microwave and toaster, a large walk-in clothes closet, TV, DVD, and wireless internet. All linen, dishes and utilities are included. Ideal for a person or couple in transition or for short-term vacationers to the Bay Area. (One caveat: The ceilings are only 6'9, so if you are very tall you may feel a bit cramped.) The rent is $1486 a month (or $400 a week), with a fully refundable $350 security deposit. If staying over a month, first and last month will be expected.

Unfortunately, after confirming with Denise to rent her place in October she canceled because she didn't receive our deposit which was posted. Since we live abroad I would of appreciated if she contacted me first so that I could have tried to solve this problem by calling my bank and having a check sent directly to her account. (she didn't accept paypal which would of made it easier and quicker). I had to trust her without knowing her or seeing her place, she could have afforded me the same courtesy. Personally I ask myself if she got a application for a longer period and therefore decided not to contact us about the problem but to just cancel. I hope she treats her next renters with a little more respect.

response from Dr Adams. Ms. Ruzzano had contacted me months ago re. this rental, initially requesting it for the month of December, though no deposit was sent at the time. Then I didn't hear from her for a while until she contacted me again saying that she wanted the apt for October instead of December. I explained to her very clearly that I would not be able to hold the reservation for her until I received the deposit. After several e-mails back and forth in which she apologized for all the messages and changes, she finally promised to send the deposit on April 18th - reassuring me that it would take no more than 7 to 10 days to arrive. As of May14th I still hadn't received either deposit or message explaining the delay. Since she clearly knew I could not hold the reservation beyond the time agreed upon, and in view of the history of changes and lack of follow-through, I had to conclude that she wasn't serious about renting this apt, and wrote to her that given that the deposit had not arrived within the time agreed upon, I could no longer hold this reservation.
