This is a charming 2-bedrooms apartment located in the heart of Mouffetard (5th arrondissement)in the triad of the Pantheon Museum, the Jardin des Plantes ( botanical garden ) and the beautiful Jardin du Luxembourg. The eact address of the appartement is 38, rue de l'arbalète 75005 Paris. The lively place Mouffetard with its beautiful fountains and traditional food markets is just around the corner. This is a very Parisian location with cafés, restaurants, traditional bakeries and groceries. This is the area of the Paris-Sorbonne university, Paris II, Paris III, Paris IV and Sc Po (10 minutes walk), 8 minutes walk from Montessori school.
The area is very safe. The apartment is on the ground floor. The appartement is on the groundfloor so you don't have problems with your lugages. There is a couple that are guards of the building.
The entrance is spacious. There is a double door in the entrance that goes to the living-room. When this door is opened, it extends the open-kitchen. It is fully equipped with all modern amenities including traditional oven, microwave oven, induction plates, coffee machine, toaster, family size fridge & freezer, “kenwood chef” for coocking. Sufficient utensils and dishes are provided.
The floors are made of parquet. The living-room has a dinner area with a marble dinning table and one sofa that can be converted into two single beds. All modern amenities are present including colour TV with international channels, i-pod Hi-Fi system and a wi-fi Internet connection.
The master bedroom has a comfortable queen-size bed (160x190) , a study and a library. It is very quiet as it faces a peaceful courtyard. The second bedroom has two single beds.
The bathroom has a full-size bathtub with shower . In spring 2008, we have renovated the bathroom with pink marble from Iran so it's very nice and confortable. Sufficient towels and linen are provided.
There is a separate toilet in the entrance There is also a convenient washing machine & dryer, an iron and ironing-table. If you have a baby, there is a place in the building to put away your pushchair. A baby-bed is also provided.
You have a lot of bus around the appartement and also a subway station. It's also easy to come from bothe airports (Orly or Roissy), just stop with RER at Port-Royal and then 5 minutes walk from the appartement.
