Hampstead- spacious light one bedroom flat plus study/bedroom in a great location.




This is a super flat - light and airy and very comfortable (about 900 sq feet) It takes up whole top floor of our beautiful Edwardian home in leafy historic Hampstead.It is totally self contained and has everything you need for a comfortable stay in London. Large double bedroom with new 6ft x 6foot 3" bed plus a study/office with a comfortable double sofa bed (futon) for for occasional guests.Large living/ dining room. Modern kitchen and bathroom. A real home from home to study/write in peaceful surroundings or explore London .All the usual requirements like wifi/ dishwasher/washing machine etc SKY TV. We are about 5 minutes to the tube and even less to bus stop with easy fast access to the centre. Hampstead itself is a sought after area with great shops and amenities and Hampstead Heath is nearby for lovely walks . There is a good reasonably priced gym minutes away that offers day ,weekly or longer membership (www.jubileehalltrust.org/armoury) ) We are both sixty . I am a root canal specialist and also teach and my wife is a painter. We have enjoyed renting out the flat to academics for over 15 years and did a total refurB in 2008. All our previous tenants have really enjoyed staying in the flat and we can supply e mails so you can find out from them directly. What more can we say? it is a great apartment in a great location in a great city!

Having leaved in London for more than 10 years in the past and returning after some time for a short sabbatical, I was a bit apprehensive on trying to find a short let to accomodate me and my family for a few weeks. Enter the Bermans! They made our stay one of the most memorable. The flat (situated on the second floor of the house) was immaculate in all aspects, with all amenities included (including WiFi internet connection). The house is situated in a quite street, but only 2 minutes walk from alway vibrant Belsize Park and 10 minutes walk to Hampstead. This makes it ideal if you want to work in a nice and quite surrounding, and at the same time having an excellent selection of restaurants and coffee shops to visit. To the advantages of the house, one has to add the extremely easy quick and easy access to the city centre and the touching hospitality of the Bermans. Highly recommended! I stayed with the Bermans for a month this summer and was delighted with their beautiful flat and their kind hospitality. The flat is even lovelier than the photographs indicate--modern, spacious, clean and completely equipped. Moreover, Melissa and Anthony were extremely kind and helpful, directing me to neighborhood services (including a terrific local hairdresser) and answering any questions I had. Although I had visited London several times before, I was unfamiliar with Hampstead which proved a delight and a wonderful refuge from the central London crowds. We stayed in Anthony and Melissa's flat for the summer of 2010 and we absolutely loved it. The flat is very large, clean, modern, comfortably furnished, well-equipped and in an absolutely beautiful neighborhood. Anything you need (supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, shops, parks) is a short walk away and the center is easily reached by Tube or bus. We were sad when the time came to leave!
