Spacious, architect-designed house enjoying panoramic views over Lough Foyle from the small fishing village of Greencastle towards Magilligan Point. Located on the edge of of the village, you will experience total privacy and peace here. The house features lots of glass, so the sunlight floods in throughout. Set in 3/4's of an acre of enclosed, private gardens the property offers plenty of outside space for soaking in the view. There is an abundance of white sandy beaches close by,excellent for dog-walking or bird-watching. The local links golf course is within walking distance of the house and there are two championship courses nearby in Ballyliffin.. Greencastle has it's own Museum and Planetarium, unusual for a small vilage and well worth a visit. The Inishowen Peninsula and Antrim Coast, including the Giant's Causeway, are easily explored. The Lough Foyle Ferry takes carries cars and passengers hourly across to Northern Ireland. Fresh fish is available from the pier. Three pubs in the village, two serving local produce, and local shop and post office.
The house is on one level. As you enter through the porch, there is a large hall and dining room with 25' high windows looking out onto the garden and separate cloakroom. The sitting room has dazzling view across the lough, with open fire and tall, wood-panelled ceilings. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, large american oven and microwave. Bedrooms are one kingsize double and 2 twin-bedded rooms, one with ensuite bathroom. There is a master bathroom with separate shower, w.c., dressing room and jacuzzi bath. There is a third w.c. in the cloakroom. All bedrooms have sea-views.
