Furnished rental area includes one large private master bedroom as well as an adjoining small office area, large private master bath, living room/rec room with pull-out sofa and flat-screen TV, large closet/storage room, and well-equipped kitchen with sink, counter and barstools, refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, coffee pot, and oversize thermostated electric skillet. Shared laundry with large laundry sink are adjacent to private space (homeowner access to laundry is through rec room).

The private space is lightly furnished with a very good “full-size” platform bed with firm mattress, desk and desk chair, leather recliner/reading chair, bookshelf, hangers for clothes, CD player/radio, lights, and bed tables etc. Cable TV, wireless internet, trash, water, snow removal, parking, saline pool and hard court tennis (summer only) included in rent. Additional storage space and other details negotiable, depending on tenant’s needs.

The property is located at 685 Poplar Ave, Boulder, Colorado, 80304. Awesome access to local running and hiking trails, less than half-mile from local shopping and city bus line with good access to city center. Rent $1000/per month. Short term rental options: $375/week; $65 per night. Long-term tenants with pets must pay monthly cleaning fee.

I am a single professional woman, with two adult dogs. One adult dog is OK; cats negotiable. Rental not suitable for families with young children. Single tenant preferred, but will consider an adult couple as well.

In the summer, the room stays much cooler than the outdoor temperature, even without air conditioning, which is very good during hot summer days in Boulder. The owner, Mimi, is helpful, friendly and generous. Overall, I am very satisfied with the room and the surrounding neighborhood.
