Central Condo on the Lake: Unfurnished
Our one bedroom condo is right on Lake Michigan, two blocks north of Navy Pier, and a short walk to world-class shopping on the Magnificent Mile. The neighborhood is well situated for public transportation, and there is also a taxi stand right outside the building. Seriously, you wont be disappointed with the location; it's in the best part of Chicago.
The condo is very open (the bedroom doesn't have a door), with high ceilings, and high end finishings. It is very livable, and underwent a gut re-hab last summer.
This building is know as the former "Furniture Mart." Also in the building is a full service grocery store, Ace Hardware and Walgreens Pharmacy. There is a public parking lot in the building: contact me for the rates, if you are bringing a car. There is an in-unit washer and dryer.
From the building, you can walk to the:
-Ohio Street Beach
-Navy Pier
-13 mile Lake Michigan bike/running path
-Museum of Contemporary Art
-Chicago River and River Boat Tours
-Field Museum, Adler Planetarium, Shedd Aquarium, and Millenium Park (free concerts in summer)
-World-class shopping on Michigan Avenue (aka: The Magnificent Mile).
