Seaside House in Northern Portugal
This is a much loved house by the beach, 8-minute walk from non-touristic fishing village in the north of Portugal. Price depends on time of year and is negotiable for long term rentals.
The house is around the corner from indoor and outdoor municipal sea-water pools right on the beach; a five minute walk from local grocers; five minutes by car from major golf club; five minutes by car/train from Espinho, one of the most prized seaside towns with a wide, white sand beach extending for more than 80 miles; fifteen minutes by car/train from the city of Porto, the second largest city, home to Porto university, medieval architecture and Port Wine; 40 minutes by car/train from the university of Aveiro and one hour from the University of Coimbra, one of the first universities in Europe set in a beautiful historic city. It is also only two and a half hours from Lisbon by car or train.
The house sits in its own grounds. It has a double garage; three floors with views of the sea; 3 balconies; one porch area; 4 large bedrooms (one en-suite); and one open plan top floor. It is fully furnished and has central heating, high-speed internet, cable TV and security system. There is a reasonable size garden, mainly gravel and lawn, and completely secure so it is a good play area for children. The price includes linen (except beach towels) and a maid service once a week.
