Oceanfront, Luxurious Self-contained house
This is a custom built, architecturally designed, west coast style home, with red cedar-clad walls, vaulted ceilings, wood and ceramic floors, and open living-room and dining-room. All rooms have majestic views of Cowichan Bay, Genoa Bay, Separation Point, Mt. Tzuhalem and Saltspring Island.
There is an elevator to all four floors as well as staircases. The house is situated on 1.75 maturely landscaped acres. The property slopes to a high steep bluff with trail access to the beach.
Things to do: swim lengths in our 36ft x 18ft indoor swimming pool, have a sauna, watch your favourite movies in the home theatre, relax on the decks and watch the eagles and yachts sail past. On less pleasant days you can sit in the atrium and enjoy the plants. The kitchen is modern with an open concept so cooks need not be isolated.
The third floor has a large master bedroom suite, complete with jacuzzi bath from where you can enjoy the views. The second floor has two ocean facing bedrooms. The Purple Bedroom has queen bed, the Blue Bedroom has double bed. Both bedrooms share a large bathroom with jacuzzi sitz bath.
From the main floor lounge and pool area you go up a step into an office, which has three large desks as well as a sitting area. The house has a high speed wireless internet connection.
A caretaker lives on the property in the suite above the garage and will answer any questions or concerns.
The colourful village of Cowichan Bay, is approximately a 5-minute drive north. Victoria is about 45 minutes south, Duncan is 15 minutes north, and Nanaimo another 30 minutes north of Duncan.
