I have a beautiful large apartment in Bologna in the "center of the center" as they say, right under the famous two towers at Piazza della Mercanzia. The building has a stunning entrance which many stop to photograph during their stay in Bologna. It is located in a wonderful historic building and is only steps away from Piazza Maggiore, Piazza Santo Stefano, and anything and everything you might wish for: bookstores (both Rizzoli and Ambasciatori), restaurants, banks, boutique bread and pastry shops. boutique cheese shops, theatres, including the Opera House, churches, museums, the University of Bologna's many departments, etc.. In spite of its central location, it is very quiet, and only a short walk away from one of the largest, most beautiful parks in the city -right at the end of our road- Giardini Margherita. Many other walks through other parks, Villas and the hills, including the stunning walk up to San Luca, are all within easy reach.
