This is a newly decorated two floor two bedroom Casa. It has a lounge kitchen and dining room, situated in a quiet, gated, secure 14 unit, condominium complex.
The master bedroom has a fireplace, an en suite bathroom, a boveda ceiling and a south facing step-out balcony looking out onto well maintained gardens and the swimming pool and hot tub.
The guest bedroom, which can also be used as an office, has its own private en suite bathroom and an eight foot picture window offering a panoramic view of the Botanical gardens to the right, the steep rocky canyon of the Rio Laja in front and plains going off to distant mountains to the left. It also has an east facing veranda looking over the gardens, the perfect place to sit and read or enjoy your morning coffee,
The lounge has a fireplace and French windows opening onto a small private garden area with sun umbrella bougainvilleas and many other tropical flowering plants.
In addition, on the ground floor there is a half bathroom and a large entry hall.
Amenities include phone, TV, DVD and CD players and a high-speed internet connection
The open plan kitchen/ dining room also has a large picture window enjoying the same view as the guest bedroom and a window looking into the beautiful well tended multilevel garden area where you can sun yourself beside the pool, relax in the hot tub or sit and read beneath the shade palms or under the orange trees.

Our wonderful condo manageress, Maribel, is fluent in English and an inexhaustible source of local knowledge. Our night watchman Francisco besides keeping vigil at the gate is also the condo handyman looking after the pool and along with our two gardeners he makes sure that the facilities are maintained in good condition.


An eight-minute walk down hill takes you to the historic centre of colonial San Miguel with its many churches, Spanish language schools, shops and excellent restaurants. San Miguel was recently declared to be a world heritage site.

Eight minutes uphill takes you to the lower gate of the 100 hectare botanical gardens of Charco del Ingenio with its many walking trails and an abundance of plants, birds, butterflies and water fowl.



The condo is essentially an adult community and the pool and hot tub are not guarded and may present a danger to small children.

As with most places in San Miguel, the condo is located on a fairly steep hillside and there are a number of steps within the condo which may pose a problem for people with limited mobility. However, the taxi services in San Miguel are very good and reasonably priced. Thirty pesos, about US $2.25 will get you from one side of town to the other.
San Miguel is at an altitude of 6400 feet.
