Cosy flat in Sarria, Barcelona
Ours is a small but very cosy 60 square meter flat in the quiet neighborhood of Sarria, Barcelona. The apartment has a independent bedroom with a double bed and a large living room with kitchen. Children can use the mattresses used ad a sofa in the living room or even, if old enough, the bed installed on the gallery. The huge roof terrace is almost exclusiively used for this flat - the neighbor used it from time to time to dry the washing.
The flat is located in a pedestrian area in the Sarria neighborhood, a former independent village in the Collserola hills of Barcelona. Sarria was not integrated into the city until 1921; with mainly small buildings, it still conserves great part of its original character. The nearby underground station "Sarria" connects in less than 10 minutes to the centre of Barcelona and its old town. To the Universitat de Barcelona and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya located in Diagonal, it is a 15 minute walk.
