We lived here for the academic year 2008-09, and we had a spectacular year. The house is a perfect Berkeley bungalow -- beautifully maintained with a kitchen and bedroom addition that work seamlessly with the house. The garden is beautiful and well cared-for. The owners were very responsive to our questions and needs, and we were very sorry to leave at the end of the year. The house was small for our family of 4 (our kids were in 2nd and 4th grade) but the house was so perfect we would do it again in a minute. The location is terrific -- near the BART station, Monterey Market, and the Gourmet Ghetto -- on a street with few cars.
