Spacious Apartment in Vibrant area 2.5 miles from Colosseum & Centro
This much loved apartment has attained it's distinct Roman character over the past 4 years by many family and friends on countless visits to the eternal city.
My wife and I are happy to have spent our son's first year in what we think is the world's most beautiful city but we return to London for another adventure and are looking for like-minded people to live in this apartment which we call 'Gubbio' (after the street the balcony overlooks) for anything between 3 to 12 months!
The apartment consists of 1 large double bedroom, spacious entrance and passage way, bathroom with window and a large living room/office leading onto a balcony that also joins with the kitchen. All of which have been freshly painted.
The living room has a large and comfortable sofa bed for guests.
The apartment comes furnished with new washing machine, unlimited wi-fi internet and all bills such as condominio, water, gas, electricity and heating included.
€500 deposit required for up to 5 month rental and a full month's deposit required for 6 months and longer.
The building has a serviced lift for you to reach the top (8th) floor or for a bit of exercise you can use the stairs. A friendly and helpful Portiere who speaks some English is in the entrance reception during weekdays.
Bedding and towels are also available. An all-in-one colour printer is available for use.
Across the road 2 buses (the number 780 & 781) frequently travel into the centre within half an hour, whereas a 10 minute walk will get you to Rome's Trastevere Station with trains to Leonardo da Vinci (Fiumicino) airport and the International train station Termini. A short bus ride will also take you to the Archivio Centrale dello Stato in EUR.
Access to a walking/jogging/cycle path along the Tiber (Tevere) river is very close and is also a quick and uncongested route into the centre all the way up to the Vatican City.
Close by is Porta Portese; Rome's most famous Sunday Flea market. The apartment is in the Marconi area and within 1 sq. km radius of the apartment is every shop and restaurant imaginable. Directly opposite is a good and large supermarket.
