3-bedroom penthouse apartment in a charming red-brick former ambulance station, perfectly located for a family vacation or brief research stay. We are 5 minutes by foot from the Tate Britain museum and the Thames, 10 minutes from the Abbey and Houses of Parliament, and 10 minutes to Victoria Station, as well as an easy bus ride to Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly. The Pimlico underground station is nearby, with fast Victoria Line subway link to Kings Cross, Russell Square.
The apartment is extremely light and airy, and recently renovated, with new carpet in the bedrooms and hardwood and tile flooring in communal spaces. It is ideal for a family of four, with one master bedroom and two children's rooms, each of which has a single bed. There is also a double futon in the living room. It is on the top floor of a three-story building (no elevator), with an internal staircase leading up to the penthouse living area and terrace.
Both the master bedroom and the second bedroom have en-suite bathrooms, the first with a tub/shower, the second with a shower. The third and main bathroom is off the hall. The living room features sloped attic windows and a double door onto the terrace. Dining is either at a cherrywood table with six chairs or al fresco on the terrace.
