About My husband and I recently retired; I was a public service lawyer and he was a program manager for a non-profit assisting juveniles on probation. We are now traveling and volunteering in various parts of the world and hope to rent or exchange our apartment to share our beautiful city of San Francisco with others.

We stayed in Joan and Bob's lovely flat in San Francisco for a month. The flat was truly lovely - comfortable, practical, and beautiful. The neighbourhood is nice as well, with a great local bakery (Urban Bread), a fantastic ice cream shop (Bi-Rite), and a good local park at your fingertips. The flat is well situated near many different MUNI lines and getting around the city was surprisingly easy. Joan herself was extremely helpful, welcoming, and well organised. The flat is beautifully furnished and maintained. Excellent central location with added value of being on a quiet street. Parking underneath the house is a desireable feature as the popular neighborhood lacks sufficient night time parking. Bus, underground Muni light rail are close by. Landlords go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and an easy transition. Their housekeeper is competent and helpful. Walkable to many restaurants, parks, even downtown S.F. We stayed in Joan Anyon's home for a month in summer of 2011. It was a wonderful experience. Joan and her husband are just the hosts you wish for. They are very kind and forthcoming. We communicated extensively by email before we arrived. They provided plenty of very useful information about the house and the neighbourhood. They were flexible about checking in and out. Their home is beautiful. It really feels like a home-away-from-home and functions just perfect for a family of four. It is situated in a neighbourhood which we fell in love with. What a lovely home-away-from-home! It is clean, comfortable and well-furnished, nicely remodeled kitchen, updated bathrooms, in-unit laundry: everything needed for a great stay! The location is fabulous: between the Castro and Mission; near fantastic restaurants, public transport, banks, etc.; all kinds of hipster places (see Valencia St), Bi-Rite Grocery and Creamery, and Dolores Park to boot.
