About I am a medical officer at the FDA in Washington DC and moonlight as an Urgent Care Physician. I live in a 100 year old renovated home on Capitol Hill. The apartment for rent is an English basement apartment in my home with access to the patio. I was a Peace Corps sponsored United Nations Volunteer in Papua New Guinea and lived and worked outside the United States in England, Germany, Republic of Maldives, Zambia and St Lucia. I love Washington DC and all that it offers from great restaurants, theater and the arts to sailboat racing on the Potomac River. I began renting my the apartment three years ago and have met some wonderful people. The apartment is fully furnished and turn-key ready. All you need to bring are your clothes and personal effects. I prefer rentals of at least 6-12 months.
