Looking to swap my London apartment in the historic Notting Hill for an NYC apartment for late-August to mid-December to coincide with the Fall Semester of 2024 (I am undertaking a graduate student research visit to The New School). My contemporary apartment, which I fully re-designed and refurbished in 2022, has two double bedrooms, two bathrooms (one en-suite), a separate study/home office and balcony, as well as a large eat-in kitchen and separate living room. It would be ideal for a couple or family. It's super light and bright, with amazing views of Trellick Tower, one of London's architectural gems! The apartment is seconds from the bustling Portobello and Golborne antiques market, and many great restaurants, shops, cafes, bars and pubs (will share my list of recommendations of course!).The area is fantastically connected, with London Underground and bus services taking you to Central London in <30 mins, as well as to Bloomsbury (where UCL/SOAS/Birkbeck universities are all located), the British Library, British Museum, V&A, Tate etc. My dates are somewhat flexible so please don't hesitate to get in touch if interested or you have any questions! NOTE: there is currently scaffolding up around the building for maintenance work (it is visible in some photos). The scaffolding is scheduled to be removed in May/June and should not be up during the period of the house exchange.
