The house is just a few blocks from the Homewood campus of Johns Hopkins University as well as the free shuttle that runs to and from to the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions, as well as Union Memorial Hospital and the Baltimore Museum of Art. The apartments generally are rented by Johns Hopkins associates, visiting researchers and medical students.
The house is in the Abell Avenue "painted lady" district known for its colorful houses. At this address, you are very close to the coffee shops, restaurants, Waverly Farmer's Market and a large supermarket with pharmacy, as well as the Johns Hopkins bookstore with Barnes and Noble coffee shop.
Each apartment is fully furnished with everything you need for a very comfortable stay, including kitchen and bed linens, housewares, cooking utensils, etc. Rentals rates includes ALL utilities: heat, air conditioning, water, gas and electric (up to $100/month), wireless Internet, monitoring of the apartment's security system, and cable TV.
The tenants all have access to a large covered porch on the front of the house, a garden in the fenced-in back yard, and free laundry facilities in the basement of the house. SO convenient--just bring your personal belongings and move right in!
