House with garden in the middle of Brisbane
Our comfortable house has two fan cooled bedrooms plus a guest room, a big living room, one bathroom and a spacious kitchen with large dining area. This leads onto the patio surrounded by a lush tropical garden - or hang out on the front veranda. In addition, the child friendly house offers wireless broadband, TV/DVD, washing machine and bicycles. The use of our car can be negotiated.
The house/location is ideally suited to academics/researchers/doctors looking for temporary lodgings or as a bridge to permanent accommodation.
It is located in the heart of Brisbane, a 15 min walk from the CBD. The University of Queensland (St. Lucia campus), QUT (Gardens Point campus) as well as Griffith University’s Queensland College of Art and the Conservatorium are all within 15 to 20 min walking distance. The Mater Hospital is around the corner, Princess Alexandra and Greenslopes Hospitals are 5-8 minutes away by car.
Brisbane’s public transport, i.e. bus, train, ferries, and bikeways, is close by.
The city’s major attractions are also within walking distance: theatres, museums and galleries, Brisbane river, parks, cinemas, shops and restaurants.
Brisbane’s surrounds and tourist destinations offer something for everyone and the beautiful beaches at the Gold and Sunshine Coast, cool mountains, major National Parks as well as the spectacular islands of Moreton Bay are easily accessible.
