by well-served railway line and by road.

I stayed in beautiful Cortona for seven months. The views from the house and the walks you are able to take from the house are inspiring. The beauty of Cortona is not really appreciated until you are on Porta Montanina.
Luciana and Sergio were wonderful owners. I never had a problem, they were quick with answers to my questions and had filled the shelves with information regarding surrounding towns. The neighbors were helpful and kind. The house is spacious and the fireplace is a good place to lounge around.
Cortona is jewel of a town and only really appreciated from the view from Porta Montanina.
