| One bed in Cardiff, UK |
I have a one bedroom modern apartment in Cardiff, South Wales. The apartment is in one of the most popular neighbourhoods in the city. Situated within the bay area , the apartment is near to many cafes, bars, restaurants and to the Milllennium Centre which hosts all the major opera and theatre performanaces which come to Wales. The bay itself is ideal for vistors having many walking/cycle paths, boat trips and waterfront venues.
The apartment has - one bedroom (with large double bed and storiage space) - modern fully equipped kitchen (with dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, microwave, large fridge freezer, fan oven, and plenty of dinner ware) - bright sitting room (with dining table and chairs, 42inch tv, dvd player) - bathroom (with seperate bath and shower both with plenty of hot water, toilet, wash basin and heated towel rail) The apartment also comes with wireless broadband throughout, printer, and telephone line. There is also plenty of outdoor space in the private terrace where there is a table and chairs for outside entertaining and BBQs. The building has a roof garden for relaxing and takes in views of the Millenium centre and the city of Cardiff (see photos below). There is also a secure car park and bike storiage, along with recycling facilites.
The apartment is fully secure and on a quiet street next to the bay. Within minutes of the flat is the station for the train to the city (though the city centre is only 20 mins walk away), multiplex cinema, bank, post office, supermarket, bakery, and beauty salon.
Some of the best things to do in Cardiff include: 1. Head to the farmers market at the weekend to get some local meat and veg (20 mins walk from the flat) 2. Walk across the barrage from one side of the bay to the other and get an ice-cream on the way back. 3. Go for afternoon tea in the St Davids hotel (5 mins from the flat) 4. Take in a show in the Millennium Centre or just listen to the local brass bands which play there for free on a Sunday. 5. Get the train to town for some amazing shopping 6. Head out of town on a day trip to see the beaches and cliffs of the Gower, the second hand bookshops in the quaint village of Hay-on-Wye or to Abergavenny renowned for the quality of its food producers.
Caridiff is also within an hour of both Bristol and the historic city of Bath, and just over 2 hours to London meaning that there is plenty of opportunites for day/weekends away. |
