I have been a public school teacher in Volusia County, FL and in Chicago, IL for the last 19 years. I also have a social work degree and have counseled at-risk children, adolescents, parents and other adults both within the school system and at our community health agency. I have also worked with special populations such as Mexican immigrants and other ethnic groups.
