A beautiful ten-minute walk through the New Town to the shops on George Street, Princes Street gardens, the Botanical Gardens, and many of the venues of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. A twenty-minute walk to the University of Edinburgh, Old Town, and castle. Flat has a very handsome, private back garden, and a modern and fully-equipped kitchen. Wifi, washer/dryer, dishwasher, central heating. Quiet street with bars, restaurants, world-class cheese shop, and grocery store around the corner.
Flat is available for weekly or monthly exchange with academics in New York City or possibly other cities in the United States (LA, San Francisco, Miami, Austin) or in Western Europe (Paris, Barcelona, Madrid, Berlin, or Rome) for long or shorter periods between May and September 2012. Alternatively, flat can be sublet to you during this same period (short or long stays: 500 GBP/week or monthly rent negotiable). Landlady is very helpful, lives close by, and will provide linens, towels, and other reasonable items. |
