Kuranda Villas is the only fully furnished and self-contained holiday accommodation in the heart of the village of Kuranda making it an ideal location for single travellers, couples, families or friends.

Villa 1 has two bedrooms (sleeps 4)
Villa 2 has three bedrooms (sleeps 5)
Ceiling fans are located throughout the villas. A heater is located in the lounge/dining room in the cooler months of the year (June, July, August).
Each villa has a full kitchen with all the necessary crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils and pots and pans. We supply some basic provisions for your comfort and to help you settle in on your arrival, such as extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt & pepper, sugar, locally grown Nerada tea and locally grown and roasted coffee from the Kuranda Rainforest Coffee. Complimentary Port is provided.
A compost bin is provided for disposing of fruit and vegetable matter, eggshells, tea bags and coffee grounds.
There is a TV and DVD player, as well as a radio/CD player.
There is a patio with a BBQ and an outdoor table and chairs in a private garden.
There is a safe covered parking area alongside each villa and there are security screens on the windows and doors.
All linen, bedding and towels is supplied and there is a front loading washing machine and dryer provided.
Barron Gorge National Park offers a network of walking tracks ranging from short walks to longer day walks. Mountain biking is allowed in the Kuranda and Mowbray National Parks and no permit is required.
In the official list of 150 Queensland icons the Barron Falls came in 12th! Enjoy The Barron Falls and treetop boardwalk, as well as bushwalks within the rainforest around the village.
The village is located in the rainforest 330 metres above sea level in the Cairns Highlands. The climate is cooler and much less humid than on the coast and just 30 km from Cairns up the scenic Kuranda Range Road with views overlooking the Great Barrier Reef.
Kuranda was founded in 1876 and inhabited by the Djabugay aboriginal people. Tourism began in the area at the beginning of the twentieth century and became very popular in the 1960s with the hippie generation for it offered a fabulous location for their alternative lifestyle.
Kuranda is surrounded by World Heritage listed wet tropics rainforest with approximately 1,200 species of flowering plants, 800 of which are rainforest trees. There are over 430 bird species in the Wet Tropics and the Great Barrier Reef, which makes Kuranda Villas the perfect base for birdwatching and wildlife tours in the area.
