It is a thriving small village with a good primary school,( secondary schools a short drive away), and a population that is an interesting mix of local wine farmers, young professional families who commute to Montpellier, and a good scattering of artists, musicians, writers and foreigners. There are plenty of activities in the village, an excellent wine bar/restaurant, Montpellier accessible by public transport, or 30 minutes by car. The surrounding countryside is perfect for walking and cycling, there are rivers and lakes nearby, and the Mediterranean beaches are a 35 minute drive away. |
