This house is located in a stunning position directly onto open space, park and lake.
Magnificent views of Foothills mountains, and direct access to extensive bike and pedestrian trail system around Wonderland Lake and foothills. Very quiet location.
The house has a large, shared open plan living, dining and kitchen areas with cathedral ceilings (aprox 1,000 sq ft) The lower level for rent (aprox 1,000 sq ft) includes 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms a 400 sq ft basement guest living area. There is s independent guest kitchenette facilities in the guest room (microwave, refrigerator, electric kettle) Magnificent views of the foothills and the lake can be enjoyed from both bedrooms and large decks. Both bedrooms have desks and can be used used as a study or spare, guest bedroom. There is a large upper level bedroom and private bathroom used by the hosts, an NCAR scientist and wife, who travel frequently.
Outdoor living spaces include 3 large decks (one on ground level, one on upper living room level, one private deck attacked to the hosts bedroom) and a small garden with a gate through to open space and parkland. The location is in NW Boulder, 7 minutes walk to bus access on Broadway Avenue ("SKIP" bus line), and to supermarket, 2 restaurants, coffee shop and other small shops.
The house has ducted heating, a fully equipped kitchen, 2 gas log fireplaces, air conditioning, internet, internet wireless, and cable TV.
The house is facing the Wonderland Lake which is a wildlife preservation area.
Our community facilities include free use of swimming pool, (May - Sept) and 2 tennis courts within 200 meters.
The house is an 6-minute drive from downtown Boulder – Pearl Street Mall, 9-minute drive to the University of Colorado, a 50-minutes drive to the nearest ski resort – Eldora, and a 1-hour drive to Denver Airport. All of the above landmarks are easily accessible by public transport (7 minute walk to Broadway Ave.)
