Designer flat in Central London NW6

Stunning one bedroom flat on a quiet leafy street, near to Queen's Park and all the joys of this charming London area. The flat is in an 1880s building and has many beautiful architectural features, such as plaster coving and large sash windows with wood panelling.

Queen's Park is a fashionable central area with very good transport links, tube (Bakerloo Line), buses and rail links. There is a direct train link to Euston Station and the British Library, which gets you there in 20mn, door to door. Central London (Oxford Circus / Marble Arch) is 15mn away by tube or bus.
There are many lovely restaurants in the area and Queens Park is only a short walk from the flat, and is great in the summer. Wonderful bars, delis, supermarkets and restaurants are all within walking distance of the flat and every Sunday, the award winning Queen's Park Farmers Market is a delight of fresh organic produce and delicious food.

The apartment has beautiful period features, wonderful high cellings, wooden floors throughout and huge bay windows, giving it a bright and airy feel. It has lots of natural light and is sunny, whenever the London weather allows!

Utilities, HD satellite TV and wi-fi broadband are included in the rental fee, but not Council Tax (£105 monthly).

If you have any questions, just get in touch. The flat is truly gorgeous, and previous tenants have really enjoyed their stay!

The flat is available from October 2012.

My husband and I stayed at this flat for two months in Spring 2012 while I was completing a postdoctoral fellowship. We were extremely satisfied: the flat was very clean, with modern kitchen appliances, well-furnished, and spacious enough to allow us to have friends come over for dinner. Close to Queen's Park and Kilburn High Road station, commuting to Euston to take the train or work at the British Library was very easy and convenient, and I could jog in the park on a daily basis. Sainsbury's and Marks & Spencer are located 5 minutes away. This is a very calm neighbourhood, and writing at home was great, with the working desk facing a beautiful garden. Given the London market, we thought it was worth the price requested. Getting the security deposit back was easy, and Viviana was very friendly and professional. Should I have to come back to London for an extended stay, I would not hesitate to contact her again. Excellent ProfAMD 8/28/2012 9:08:00 AM
Reply from owner: There was never any mould in the bedroom, just smell coming from the bathroom drains, due to some roadworks the municipality was doing nearby. Everything looked (and smelled!) absolutely fine by the time we checked, but just in case, we also cleaned the drains in the bathroom. We've had many happy tenants since.

Complaint: The room downstairs was not possible to use as a bedroom due to the smell of mould, which was particularly strong from the bathroom.
