Our home is situated just below the perched village of Methamis, which is located in the heart of beautiful Provence. We are nestled amongst rolling hills and overlook vineyards, fruit orchards, and the close villages of Venasque and Blauvac. This is truly a peaceful retreat with a shared view of the Gorge de la Nesque, Mount Ventoux and the agricultural beauty of the region from our front terrace.
Conveniently located in rural provence, Methamis is just 10 miles from Bedoin and Carpentras and 20 miles from Avignon. We are within 60 miles of the Mediterranean Sea and the university town of Aix en Provence, with easy access from the Marseille airport. Our house is located at the end of a quiet street, yet within walking distance of the small village of Methamis with a small grocery, cafe, post office and school.
We offer a beautifully landscaped and gated yard with a private 10 X 5 meter pool aside a terraced patio with pergola and large, teak picnic table. Our stone house has the look of a small farm house, but has been completely renovated and modernized for your convenience and comfort. Our home has two bedrooms and two baths, with a lovely open living/ dining room, veranda & modern kitchen. Multiple terraces and large private pool and deck in beautifully landscaped, gated yard.
It is completely furnished to the highest standards. We have greatly reduced the typical rental rate for this property, as our priority is to have our home well cared for in our absence. We return to Provence for summers, and are looking to rent our home either short or long term between the end of August - June.

Gas grill (BBQ), multiple outdoor tables, and pool furniture make the terrace truly 'part of the house.' We offer a Phone, Television with DVD player, internet connection, Stereo, Kitchen with Microwave, Dishwasher, Refrigerator, & fully equipped for Cooking. Fresh Linens & towels are provided, with Washer & Dryer. No Smoking & No animals. Cleaning is scheduled weekly.
