130 sq meter apartment for rent in Central Milan, 200 meters from Arco della Pace, in a quite and residential neighborhood.

All is ready, including wifi internet, telephone, all equipment: just take your presonal things and start to work!

The apartment is on the third floor of a nice building, a typical old-style Milano building with four floors, about 100 years old. Nice entrance and lift. Very close to beautiful Parco Sempione, and a 20 minutes walk to Piazza del Duomo. 200 meters from tram stop (lines 27, 19, 1) and 10 minutes walk from subway (station Pagano). Surprisingly easy parking possibilities on the streets around. Many excellent restaurants, pizzerie and bars at walking distances. Friendly local coffee bar at the corner.

The apartment was completely renewed in 2010, but keeping the original doors, floors and ceilings. It is fully furnished and fully equipped, with all you need, including strong wireless internet connection, telephone, TV. Just arrive with your personal things, plug your laptop and start to work as usually.

The bright apartment is 130 sq meters, and includes:

- two spacious bedrooms, one with double bed and the other with two single beds; in both these rooms there are working desks with appropriate light conditions.

- a large and bright living and dining room, with two sofas (one being a double sofa bed), cable TV and a dining table, easily enlarged to sit 12 guests. This room has a small veranda.

- a large kitchen, fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, gas-cooking stove, electrical oven, micro oven, and all you need. Table sitting 6.

- a large bathroom with bathtub and separate shower cabinet (which may occasionally not work properly).

The apartment is fully equipped with bed linen, blankets, pillows for all beds (at least 2 sets each) and towels. Heating is centralized and there are radiators in several rooms, so that the apartment is nicely warm in winter. There is no air conditioning. There are windows on two sides of the building: towards a very quiet broad internal courtyard (sleeping room, kitchen and bathroom) and towards a small road which flanks the railroad tracks of Le Nord leading to Piazza Cadorna. There is some noise from train passing, especially in the dining room when windows are open. Trains do not pass in the night. Guest experience to notice the trains less and less, to get accustomed to them in a short time. The second room can alternatively be used as a very spacious office. There is a cellar room for storage. All furniture is new in June 2010, mostly IKEA or other high quality modern objects. We lived here with two children (8 and 11 years old), the apartment is very children friendly and with both Parco Sempione and another little park across the street, there is plenty of playing possibilities for children.

Sleeps 4 plus 2 guests on sofa bed. There is a convenient and elegant 3-star small hotel on the side of the building (Hotel Lancaster), with double rooms for ca. 130 Euro per night.

Rent includes the fully furnished and equipped apartment, electricity and gas utilities, condominium charges (which include water, heating, lift, cleaning of stairs), un-constrained wireless and cabled internet connections, cable TV, telephone with free local calls and reduced international rates. It is possible to have a cleaning help for 12 Euro per hour.

There is no airconditioning and July and August are warm months in Milano, but we and guests found the apartment enough fresh, by opening the windows on both sides.

PARKING: Is on the streets, according to current rules. It is possible to rent a closed (box) parking place for one car, 400 meters from the appartment for 300 euro per month.
