Rue Benoit Bunico was chosen as part of the Vieux Nice rejuvenation in the 1980´s; the apartment is on the third floor of a quality, historic building, completely renovated by the city of Nice at that time.
The street has become popular with tourists for its small artisan stores & benefits from on-street security cameras.
Wake to the sound of the bells of the ancient churches, step out of the apartment into the charming old streets & Italianate squares (Place Rosetti, next to the apartment, being one of the most typical), to buy breakfast in one of the wonderful boulangeries next to the apartment.
In 2 minutes of leaving the apartment you are standing in Cours Saleya with its famous markets of fruit, flowers & antiques.
This is THE heart of the city, where locals & tourists alike sit in the cafes, restaurants & bars & enjoy the 'joie de vivre' for which Nice is famous.
Cross the Promenade & you are on the longest beach on the Cote dÁzur, still only 4 minutes walk from the apartment.

All prices are in Euros & are for 1 week. Reduced rates available for stays longer than 1 week &

Accommodation
Bedrooms: Although a studio, the sleeping area is separate from the living area & has a 3/4 pull-down blind for some privacy.
Ideal for 2 persons, the 36 m2 apartment can accommodate 3, using the sofa bed.
Bathrooms: Bathroom has a full size bath & shower.
Kitchen: The kitchen has a full sized fridge/ freezer, cooker with oven, microwave oven, toaster, coffee-maker & a breakfast table with seating for two.
Utilities: An iron & ironing board are provided for guests' use, & there are 2 self service laundrettes just 2 minutes walk from the apartment.
Living Room: The living room also has a bookcase, armchair, Sony Bravia HDTV with Canal sat stations, Blue-ray disc player, VCR, electric fan, & CD/tape/radio.
There is now full internet access, together with a phone service which includes free calls to many international destinations, including USA, Canada, UK.
There is even a mobile phone with French SIM card provided for guests' convenience.
Other: There is a large, walk-in wardrobe off of the entrance hall; and the apartment has modern, fresh furnishings throughout.
The apartment benefits from modernisation such as double glazing, while retaining traditional features such as window shutters.

The apartment is ideal for couples; it is not suitable for young children, being 3rd floor with full length windows.
NB. 3rd floor in the old town means 3 flights of stairs with no elevator.

A car is not necessary, as the apartment is fantastically located for travel all through the city & along the Cote d'Azur by train, bus & the excellent new tramway.

What did you like?
Sheer accessibility of all facilities in the area. We absolutely did not need a car- wonderful! and restaurants of all prices on the doorstep.
It was perfect for our needs- to be able to cater for ourselves if we wanted to and just relax or visit seaside shops museums etc whenever we felt inclined.
The apartment was very well equipped and comfortable. NO complaints whatsoever!
We have rarely had a holiday which was so much in the heart of things with such a variety of things to do.
