The beautiful bungalow is suited for a single or a couple of visiting researchers, holidaymakers or those looking for a retreat on the edge of this special city in the south of Mexico. The bungalow is arranged in one unit (ie. no separate bedroom), with a raised area with a double bed/mattress and the lower area serving as a sitting area, with a futon that opens into a double bed; and as a study area with work desk and the large closet. This living area connects to the kitchen/diner, equipped with fridge, cooker and all the necessary kitchen equipment. The beautiful bathroom is adjoining, with a walk-in shower.
The bungalow is located in a rural area in the foothills of the northern part of the city, next to San Felipe del Agua, about 15 minutes to the centre of the historical part of the city of Oaxaca. The local village (an ejido) is 1.5km by trackroad. You can walk out of the door and along the path to be walking up the hill overlooking the valley, or take a cycle ride (mountain bikes can be lent) through the area.
The bungalow is set within the property of the owner, with a large area of maize field, trees, soil conservation work and vegetable garden. |
